To protect the health and safety of the public by fulfilling the functions of the HPCA Act 2003 for Dietitians

To promote and enhance the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders by ensuring dietitians practice safely, competently and effectively

To ensure Dietitians are competent and fit to practise
